Bamboo Bokken

This bokken is constructed from bamboo, one of the strongest and arguably the best suited wood for constructing this type of weapon. The stripped design combines light and dark bamboo for a beautiful design and also allows for an incredibly strong, solid bokken. The striping and fusing of the bamboo strips exponentially increase the strength of this bokken over raw bamboo since raw bamboo is hollow. If your level of training has ever left you with a cracked, splintered, and broken bokken then it's time to upgrade to the superior strength of bamboo. Measures 40" overall with a 30" blade and 10" handle. Includes plastic tsuba and rubber stopper.
