There are two sizes. Both the large and small makiwara boards are 11 1/4" tall and 2 1/4" deep. The large makiwara board is 6 inches wide and the small size makiwara clapper is 3" wide. The small makiwara board also has kanji writing on it. Both have black faux leather padding on the front and brackets on the back so you can have a wall hold onto your hand conditioning device.
