All The Martial Arts Action You Could Ever Need In One Street Fighter Box Set!

In an attempt to make hopefully make you feel as old as I do right now, I'll make you aware of the fact this year marks the 25th Anniversary of the beloved Street Fighter franchise. All is not lost though. Capcom has today revealed one of the most epic collector's compilation in recent video game history. It's a well known fact that Street Fighter fans are some of the most passionate, dedicated, and downright devoted followers out there, and it would appear Capcom is fully aware of this. While the price tag may appear hefty at first glance, just take a look at what's expected to be included: 15 discs (yeah, you read that right) containing just about every iteration of the fighting franchise you could ever want (including the recent Street Fighter vs Tekken), a documentary, two feature-length anime films, the Street Fighter cartoon in its entirety, 11 soundtrack discs, the obligatory art book, a detailed Ryu statue, and Ryu's belt. Wow.

For a game company of Capcom's scale to present gamers with anything less would have been disappointing, however the amount of thought and care that went into putting this amazing set together deserves recognition.

It's time to hit the old couch-cushion bank for me! Luckily it's not being released until September 18th, so I still have some time.
