Martial Arts Action Meets Hip Hop Style In RZA's 'The Man with the Iron Fists'
June 29th, 2012
Here's the Cliffs Notes version: The Man with the Iron Fists marks the directorial debut of Wu-Tang Clan member RZA. It is produced by Quentin Tarantino, co-written by Eli Roth, and stars Russel Crowe, Lucy Liu, and a slew of hip-hop and martial arts movie stars. In short, it will be gratuitous in its violence, stylish in its action and (hopefully) a stunning martial arts flick. We'll have to wait until later this year before reaching a final verdict. My only complaint: I hope they fix that CGI blood effect by final release. It's pretty distracting.
WARNING: The above trailer is in fact a Red Band Trailer (read: The extra naughty version) for an already violent film. It is not intended for children, young audiences, or those with delicate sensibilities.
