Mortal Kombat Web Series Gives (Re)Birth to Feature Length Movie

This week marks the point in which thousands of Mortal Kombat fans got to shout a resounding 'YES!' as it was announced that New Line Cinema has approached Mortal Kombat: Rebirth and Legacy director Kevin Tancharoen to head a possible feature length Mortal Kombat film re=boot. It should come as no surprise to fans in the know that the director will look to create a much more realistic Mortal Kombat story. While all of the legal business is apparently still being sorted out, hopefully it won't be long before we get to see some solid details on this project.
