"An exceptional upgrade from wooden nunchaku. These aluminum hexagonal speedchucks are a perfect blend of traditional and modern design. The cord rather than chain allow for better focus, flow and control. The hexagonal shape is very traditional and provides an excellent grip. You can't beat the hexagonal shape. If it ain't broke don't fix it. The solid aluminum rather than oak is where that modern touch comes into play. Oak is tough, but if you want to feel even more dangerous, go with metal. This right here is the best designed pair nunchaku you could get. Again it's a combination of traditional and modern design. It's nunchaku perfection. "These are super! The old 12" wooden chucks are good, but are dinosaurs. These speed chucks, made of aluminum and only 10", are the cutting edge. I'd rather have these. They weigh about 35% more than typical hardwood 12" chucks. Slimmer, faster, yet hit with more power because of the heavier weight and speed. K.Energy = 0.5 x mass x velocity squared; so the extra speed with these multiplies the power times FOUR not just two. Plus they just feel extra good in the hands. These are my favorite, more than some $129 rare hardwood chucks. I'd give 6 stars. Buy these, you won't be sorry. These boys in Tempe, Arizona will do you right. "

"This is the scalled down version of the corded solid aluminum hexagon nunchaku sold here. This chucks are really solid and durable. If you want the scalled down version of the corded solid aluminum hexagon nunchucks this is the one to get (they are really solid, they will serve as a speedchuck trainer since the weight permits a better level of skill practice plus as a weapon as well because of the hardness of this pair plus the flexibility in movement). Aesthetically they are beautifully sculpted and the hexagonal shape is remarkable."
