It's easy to get intimidated by samurai swords. Really, that's kind of the point. But, if you're ever going to get any good at using them, you've got to practice. The safest way to practice is with a training sword that mimics the look and feel of a samurai sword but with a safe edge that won't cut your fingers or your friends. With this in mind, we present to you the Indestructible Plastic Samurai Sword.

A perfect blend of traditional style with modern materials, this bokken was crafted with real-time combat training in mind. Although this sword is not literally undestroyable, the durable plastic makes it cut-resistant and remarkably stiff so that it is virtually unbreakable when used for common sword-play with bokken or practice swords. However, the polypropylene blade would probably not withstand abuse from an actual metal-bladed sharpened samurai sword, as fun as it sounds to try.

The shape and weight is designed to mimic a traditional samurai sword so that, when you are ready to put a real sword in your hands, it will feel like an extension of your body and not like an accident waiting to happen. Choose the sparring weapon that will take all kinds of punishment without breaking while you master your skills.

Indestructible Plastic Samurai Sword Highlights:

  • Extremely Durable Polypropylene
  • Overall Length: 39" (approx.)
  • Blade Length: 28" (approx.)
  • Handle Length: 10" (approx.)
  • Removable Plastic Guard
  • Realistic Grip - Resembles traditional wrapped katana handle!

"I used it for very light training with my peers for a few years. Unfortunately, after 4ish years, we set up a few wooden beams and after 3 minutes of training, it broke. I was devastated for the next hour, but all in all, it lasted a while. Just not going to use the next one for full strike practice."

"It's a very good product, it's not indestructible, I've had one break before, as well as the smaller version, but they can take a beating. I would suggest wearing protection, at least armoured gloves; or you might break your bones, or someone will break yours. If you don't wear protection, do light sparring, and work on form instead. "
