It Came From The Internet: Awesome Interactive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Guide
May 21st, 2012

Today's mining of internet rarities brought us to this amazing little gem. Simply titled BJJ in MMA, this site is a BJJ news site/forum where enthusiasts and practitioners are encouraged to participate in discussions pertaining to the Brazilian art.
Slanted towards the role that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu plays in the mixed martial arts specifically, the site appears to have a small but loyal following that is sure to grow in the future. But the news and community are just the tip of this iceberg.
Read on to learn what really makes our new favorite site shine!
The real gold of BJJ in MMA lies in the interactive resource that lies in the "Submissions" area of the site. Visiting this are of the site brings you to a standing, humanoid figure whose areas are labeled appropriately (arm, shoulder, etc.). Clicking on these areas brings up a tree diagram which populates with the various submission holds/moves which may be performed on this area. Clicking through the individual moves will bring you through to a visual guide (usually video) showing the moving being properly performed.
To top it off, the moves can be filtered by specific ground positions such as half guard, north/south, etc. It's a brilliantly constructed resource that can either help experienced practitioners hone their skills, or allow mma enthusiasts to get a grasp of the confusion they may have while watching their favorite fighters on TV.
