Martial Arts MMO Video Shows Off Kung Fu Centered Character Creation

The highly anticipated martial-arts focused MMORPG "Age of Wushu" just released a tantalizing new video showcasing its character creation portion of the the game, which will probably be enough to hold anxious gamers over until later this year when the game is slated for release...but probably not.

Hoping to capture the very essence of classic kung fu films like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Once Upon A Time In China", game developer Snail Games has created a very unique entry indeed. "Age of Wushu" is a massively-multiplayer game that trades in the typical medieval fantasy or sci-fi setting for one of an early Feudal China.

Players are given the opportunity to assume a role of a martial artist as they roam the lush countryside, honing their martial arts skills and gaining new ones by visiting ancient schools to train.

While it's hard to guess whether the unique MMORPG will be able to carve a niche for itself in a market that seems to be inundated with a bevy of titles, we at KarateMart.com will be rooting for it when it hits shelves later this year.
