With the spotlight focused so heavily on the antics going on in the UFC, it only stands to reason that boxing fans would find themselves a little a little down in the dumps. But this Saturday is looking to change that. Scheduled for Saturday, May 5th, the upcoming Super Welterweight Championship featuring Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas will definitely be something fight fans will want to keep an eye on.

It's hard to talk about anything boxing without referring to the Filipino phenomenon that is Manny Pacquiao. When you're also talking about Floyd Mayweather, it's next to impossible. Of course, the dream fight that boxing fans may or may not ever get to witness (Mayweather vs. Pacquiao) would be all too good to be true, at least they get to see two big names go toe-to-toe and (depending on how the chips fall) may see Mayweather get one step closer to the fight they've been wanting for years.
