Say Hello To The New Martial Arts Themed Music Rhythm Game Hitting The Playstation Vita
May 25th, 2012
Video game developer Zen Studios may be best known for its popular pinball series Zen Pinball, but that's all about to change later this year when the studio changes things up for its Playstation Vita entry, Kickbeat.
Continue reading for further details on why this may be the new game to hit your 'Must Have' list.
As you can tell from the trailer, gameplay in Kickbeat is going to be an interesting mash-up of combat and music rhythm beat game where players time their attacks to the music beats. So far the animations look polished and the soundtrack is promising. It will be interesting to see a music game like this one incorporate popular rock tracks. It's a break from the usual strobe-beats techno that permeates the majority of rhythm games.
Of course, one of the most interesting features of the game is the ability to import your own music and generate a custom level from it. Who knows? This could become a sleeper hit for the lackluster Vita.

I love musical game.
Mixing a combat game and music should be a good idea.
