With Xbox\'s Kinect still in it\'s infancy, it\'s too early to say whether the Microsoft attempt at a controller-less future of gameplay is a success or not. With many of the Kinect\'s launch games aimed primarily at a younger audiences, the older audiences of hardcore gamers have been waiting to see more mature games get released for the peripheral. This is where THQ\'s \'UFC Trainer\' comes in.(br /)(br /) With interest in the UFC and MMA in general on the rise (not to mention the wild success of previous MMA fighting games), THQ is looking to target the older male audience that is interested in taking their interests in the MMA to the next level. Unfortunately, if the preview found at video game blog Joystiq.com is to be believed, it looks like THQ may need to be going back to the training grounds with their new title.

It\'s a new week, so you know what that means! We are literally running out of room to keep all of the new karate stuff that keeps pouring in. Our latest round of martial arts supplies should really appeal to the kids... or those of you with kids... or those of you who have kids but are still kids at heart. Either way you slice it, you\'ve got a really good chance of finding something here that you or someone you know will love. Martial arts novelties have never looked this fun.

Well it looks like Tuesday's will now be known as (drumroll) Mortal Kombat Tuesdays... Okay, I'll work on the title. In the meantime, check out the second episode of the new Mortal Kombat webseries. I have to admit, after this episode, I'm hooked. At least enough to watch again next week.(br /)(br /) I don't want spoil anything for anyone, but keep an eye out around the halfway mark for a some super stylish violence involving Kano and Jax. (br /)(br /)(b)(NOTE: This one definitely drops some harsh language and is pretty violent to boot, so you'll probably have to go through the ol' YouTube age verify to watch this. Kids, get permission from parents.(/b)(br /)(br /)

Earlier last week we brought you the news of the new Mortal Kombat webseries and the circumstances behind its arrival. Well Tuesday may have taken it\'s sweet time getting here but, as promised, the first episode graced the internet yesterday afternoon.
