New Mixed Martial Arts Documentary "Fightville" Hits Theaters and PPV This Friday!
April 18th, 2012
A gigantic UFC Pay-Per-View not enough for one weekend for you? We know how it goes, and apparently so do the producers behind "Fightville", the newest mixed martial arts documentary at the center of a buzz-filled movie arena.
The film is set to premiere this weekend. In an interesting launch decision, the movie will play in theaters in New York City and Los Angeles, while everyone else will be able to stream it from either On-Demand cable or through digital download sources such as Xbox, iTunes, or Vudu.
Check out the official trailer above and then continue reading to learn more about "Fightville" and why you shouldn't miss this promising film. It's okay, we'll wait.
Could you ask for a better warm-up to UFC 145? Well, I guess you could, but we guarantee this will still be the more exciting of the two.
From the page of the official "Fightville" trailer:
"Fightville is about the art and sport of fighting: a microcosm of life, a physical manifestation of that other brutal contest called the American Dream, where men are not born, but built through self determination, hard work and faith. It may be a myth, but in Fightville, that’s what champions are made of."
Oh, and did we mention that the same directing team behind this film are the very same directors of 2004's award-winning documentary Gunner Palace? So they kinda know their stuff.
I won't even try to pretend with this one, I'm gonna end up seeing this when it premieres this Friday.
