The clear shield is constructed out of 1/8" thick polycarbonate. The headgear itself consists of protective foam padding with a leatherette covering. You secure it all with a velcro closure on the back to assure a comfortable, snug fit. The specially-designed air vents not only allow you to breathe easily, but keeps the transparent face shield from getting foggy so that you can see your opponent's kicks before it's too late. The padded contour design of the helmet provides ample protection and also allows air to flow freely over your ears and head to keep you cool.
