Keeping your feet and legs protected during sparring is just as important as protecting any other vulnerable part of your body. That's why the Cloth Shin and Instep Guards are such a useful part of any martial artist's training equipment. Made out of easy-to-clean cloth and augmented with thick inner foam pads over your shins and the upper part of your foot.
The cloth shin guards slip onto just like a sock and, with the elastic material, they hug just as tightly. The balls and heels of your feet are left uncovered, so you don't have to worry about losing sensation on the mat. You'll want to get the size that's best for you (see the size chart below) so that you can cover all of your shin area (in addition to your instep).
Whether you're training in taekowndo, kicking up a kickboxing storm, or you just want to wear foam padding to protect yourself from your sister's new kitten who likes to claw at your feet and climb up your legs, you'd do well to pick up a pair of these Cloth Shin & Instep Guards.
