This padded mitt is a 1.5-inch thick piece of rubberized foam which is soft enough to absorb shock, yet sturdy enough to hold up to the force. The black vinyl covering is smooth all over and stitched tightly together, including the glove attached to one side. The finger holes are nice and wide, making it feel like you are wearing a baseball glove. But instead of catching fly balls, you're catching flying spin kicks!
The dimensions of this padded focus target is about 9.75 inches by 7.5 inches and weighs about 8.8 ounces. The adjustable Velcro wrist strap will make sure that your hand is not left exposed at the wrong moment, and the vinyl is simple to clean with a damp cloth. Keep a training pad or two at the dojo, and some at home, so you can always be ready for a training session with protection, and more importantly, focus.
