These focus mitts have a glove on the back of a thick athletic foam that is covered in black protective vinyl. The forward curve design prevents injury by allowing the wrist to stay comfortably in you from your hand. It also helps prevent your punch from slipping upward and accidently hitting your coach in the face, who would (probably) quickly repay the favor. The center of the red vinyl has a white dot, so you know where to aim.
