  DESCRIPTION
Solid Aluminum Hexagon Nunchucks are built for martial artists who want something with real weight, real feedback, and a solid feel in hand every time they train. If you are used to lightweight foam or beginner-level practice gear, this is a completely different experience. These are heavy duty metal nunchaku designed for controlled training, precision movement, and advanced practice sessions where you actually want to feel every rotation and transfer of energy through the chain. They are not watered down, and they are not trying to be. They are made for people who already understand timing, spacing, and control, or are working their way up with serious intent.

The first thing you notice when you pick them up is the balance. The hexagon-shaped aluminum handles sit firmly in your grip, giving your hands defined edges to lock into. That shape matters more than people think, especially during fast combinations or repetitive flow drills. The machined grip section helps keep your hold steady even when your hands start to sweat, which is when most standard round chucks start slipping. The swing feels direct and connected, not loose or floaty, and the ball bearing swivel keeps the chain movement smooth without unnecessary drag or snagging.

These Solid Aluminum Hexagon Nunchucks are built from solid aluminum alloy, giving them a dense, durable structure that can handle consistent training impact. The polished finish keeps the surface smooth while still maintaining control in motion. This is not decorative equipment, it is functional training gear made to hold up under repeated use. The hardware includes a ball bearing swivel chain system that allows the handles to rotate cleanly, which is important when you are working on speed transitions, figure-eight patterns, or directional changes in flow drills.

In actual training, the weight plays a big role. At nearly 2 pounds, these nunchucks force you to slow down and tighten your technique before you can build speed. That is where a lot of the value comes from. Heavier training tools expose sloppy mechanics quickly, so you are forced to refine control, timing, and recovery positions. Once your form is dialed in, the weight starts working for you, building stronger wrist control and more deliberate movement patterns. These are not beginner-friendly chucks, and they are best suited for experienced users or practitioners who are ready to step up their training intensity.

If you are looking at dimensions, these are built with practical training proportions. The handle length is about 10 inches, paired with a chain length of approximately 5.5 inches, giving a total overall length of around 26 inches. The machined grip section is about 4 3/8 inches, designed to help stabilize your hold during transitions. Each piece is sold individually, so if you want a pair you will need to grab two.

  • Solid aluminum alloy construction for durability and training weight
  • Hexagon handle design for improved grip and control during swings
  • Ball bearing swivel chain for smooth rotation and reduced friction
  • Polished metal finish for a clean, professional look and smooth handling
  • Handle length: approximately 10 inches
  • Chain length: approximately 5.5 inches
  • Machined grip section: approximately 4 3/8 inches
  • Total weight: approximately 1 lb 13 oz per unit
  • Sold individually, not as a pair
  • Made in the USA by Kombativ

"Had these for about a year and half now. If your serious about nunchucks and think you're ready to step up your game these are the ones. They grip in the hand great and once you get the hang of them finger rolls neck rolls etc. You'll really start having a blast. You really don't need it but I threw a small layer of hockey tap between the finger grooves never replaced it still going strong working flawlessly. Honestly wish I had 2 lol that's my only regret with these."

"I thought I'd need to add grip tape of some type to the smooth upper part to keep them from slipping when doing wrist rolls & such, but I don't. The hexagon shape & wider diameter gives you a good grip; not as likely to slip out of your hands the way round ones will. Swivels on the chain are quiet & solid."

"These things are no joke. The hexagonal grooves provide an exceptional grip as you swing these seriously heavy chucks; never before have I felt so confident with metal clubs flying around my head. They instill a strong sense of, "hey, be careful", and although these chucks don't feel great on contact, you live and learn. And they're the most fun and effective grip strength-growers I've ever had. So far, I've had one pair for about two years with regular use, and I haven't noticed much deterioration, besides one ball bearing that grinds sometimes. Amazing chucks, just get them ."

"Kind of what I expected...but better!! First surprise? The ball bearings are really good. I’ve been using wood corded chucks for a while so haven’t used a chain pair since my first foam chucks. The ball bearings in these are significantly better than what I was familiar with. Not sure why I numbered the first surprise since there was just one. Apologies. What else? So heavy, was like training with sandbags on. When I go back to my wood chucks it feels like I’m swining toothpicks around. Main reason I purchased them so not a surprise...but was not disappointed. Also...they sound awesome"

"This is a beautiful set to have in your collection, the handles are solid and the hexagonal shape and handles are sculpted beautifully. My only pointer will be the chain being able to hold the weight of the handles over time (it is still a nice concept though). Me personally will go with the corded version of this nunchucks for practice (check Jake Mace video on nunchaku usage "he uses the corded version of these chucks and they hold pretty well"). Nevertheless this set is a beautiful set for collectors (maybe for practice as long as you keep an eye on the chain since the handles tend to be heavier than your traditional chucks "even more than the polypropylene versions"). Good job karate mart your hard work is evidenced in the details of your unique brand products (An image as well as the results speak more than a thousand words)"

"The moment that you hold these in your hand, you know they mean business. The moment other people hold these in their hand, they know you mean business. I use these nunchaku exclusively for training techniques- strikes/transitions/defense- so when I use(d to use) a lighter weight set, the lighter ones would fly. However, due to an incident, these solid aluminum nunchaku have become my go-to for all purposes. I would recommend, though, putting grip-tape where you place your hands (at first), in order to prevent these bad-boys from discovering flight. 5/5"
