  DESCRIPTION
If you're looking for a pair of nunchaku that feels solid in the hand and actually trains you to build control, speed, and grip strength, the Corded Hexagon Nunchaku with Grip is exactly the kind of setup that makes a difference the moment you pick it up. This is not a lightweight foam trainer or a toy-style piece. It is built from solid aluminum alloy, designed for practitioners who want real feedback in their hands when they train.

The first thing you'll notice is the hexagonal handle design. Instead of smooth round grips that can slip during fast movement, the six-sided shape gives you natural stopping points as you rotate and transition between strikes and spins. That shape alone changes how the nunchaku feel in motion. Add in the etched ring grip pattern along each handle and you get even more friction and control without needing to overgrip or tense your hands. It's the kind of detail you don't fully appreciate until you're mid-flow and realize you are not constantly readjusting your grip.

At roughly 10 inches per handle, these sit in the standard training range, giving you enough length for proper momentum without feeling unwieldy. The 1-inch diameter also helps balance comfort and control, especially during longer practice sessions. Between the two handles is a durable black paracord connector measuring around four inches between attachment points. That cord length gives a responsive swing without feeling overly loose or too tight, which helps maintain predictable motion during drills and freestyle work.

Because this is a solid aluminum build, the weight is noticeable right away, coming in at approximately 1 pound 10 ounces. That weight is intentional. Lighter nunchaku can feel fast, but they often hide mistakes in timing and control. Heavier nunchaku force you to refine your technique, improve wrist strength, and develop cleaner transitions. If you are training seriously, that feedback matters. The Corded Hexagon Nunchaku with Grip gives you that resistance every time you move them, which is exactly what builds real control over time.

This set is especially popular with martial artists who want to level up from beginner gear or add resistance training into their routine. It is also commonly used for performance practice, where consistent momentum and controlled recovery matter just as much as speed. Whether you are working on basic figure-eight patterns or more advanced freestyle combinations, the structure of these nunchaku helps you stay grounded in your technique instead of relying on overly forgiving equipment.

Another advantage is durability. Solid aluminum construction means you are not dealing with hollow rattle or weak connection points. The paracord connector is simple, reliable, and easy to maintain or replace if needed. This keeps the focus on training instead of equipment failure. It is a straightforward, functional design built for repetition and impact over time.

Like any traditional-style nunchaku, these are sold individually, so if you are training both hands equally or practicing symmetrical flow drills, you may want to pick up a second set. The design stays consistent in both right and left-hand use, so switching sides during training is seamless.

  • Solid aluminum alloy construction for durability and long-term training use
  • Hexagonal 6-sided handles for improved grip control and reduced slipping
  • Etched ring grip pattern for added friction during fast movement

4 star review
"hello everyone! I have a review coming to my YouTube channel soon about this pair of chucks. Through my testing and use I found these aren’t a bad pair to have. Very solid, and heavy for working out your arm muscles. Can cause lots of destruction so be careful. I’d recommend these for more advanced people but who am I to tell you what to do?"
