You also don't want to be the jerk who ruins their sparring partner's natural escrima. But this high-strength aluminum alloy escrima stick is great for both demonstrations and training.

The flashy metal material means that you will impress people as you demonstrate kali moves. The hexagonal design and firm rubberized grip means that you'll have no trouble holding onto your solid metal escrima. The extra weight (remember, metal is heavier than wood) gets you used to applying greater force so that you'll be moving with powerful speed and agility once you switch back to the natural, lighter escrima.

"My brother got me a pair of these for my birthday (along with the hexagon bo staff) and, once again, I was very satisfied. I have a pair of rattan escrima sticks and these are noticeably heavier, but not as much as you might think, and I actually like the added weight. I haven't personally had any problems with the grip yet, and the additional girth is nice for someone with big hands. Also, if you ever need an emergency home defense thing and you're in a jam, I think one of these would more than suffice."
