Improvised Weapon Challenge! Vote For Your Favorite!
April 27th, 2022

This week for Weapons Wednesday, we took a trip to our local hardware store to see who could make the best improvised weapon with a budget of only $30. Vote for your Favorite!
For this video, we wanted to do something a little different than usual, so Amanda, Will and I went to the hardware store in search of supplies to make an awesome improvised weapon. After shopping and getting some time to build our weapons, we showed them off for the camera and tested them out on different grocery items.
Will's goal was to create a weapon that gave him a long reach and could also be used as a throwing weapon. In the process, he came up with something he called "The Harpoon of Doom". Watch the video to see how his awesome improvised weapon turned out.
Amanda wanted to creative and design a post-apocalyptic weapon that could be used to fight off zombies. She came up with a design that turned out to be pretty impressive, but you will have to watch the video to see how it performed.
My goal was to design a weapon that would transform from one weapon into another using some sort of mechanism. While walking around the hardware store, I came up with a few different ideas that could be really interesting, but in the end, I chose to engineer a weapon that utilized a pneumatic quick connect coupler. Make sure to watch the video to see what I made!

This is hard. I was impressed with Kyle's nunchuck/spear but I would hurt myself with it (good for a confined space). I liked the simplicity of Amanda's design, and it provides for distance and looks cool. The dry wall spear was also cool (once it was tweeked). I can't decide. Dana
