Which Weapon Would You Choose To Survive The Upside Down?
Last weekend, I watched the 4th season of Stranger Things, and I asked myself "Which Weapon Would I Choose To Survive The Upside Down?". This week for Weapons Wednesday, you get your choice of 5 weapons to choose from. Which one would you choose to survive the Upside Down?

The first weapon you get to choose from is the Tactical Combat Tanto. This beautiful fixed blade tanto knife is designed perfectly to be held comfortably in multiple grips and features a micarta handle that makes this knife durable as well. The blade is made from a 440 stainless steel and it has a really smooth ring on the pommel which allows this knife to flow perfectly from modern to extended grip. I chose to test this blade for sharpness first on some cloth, and then wanted to strike some things with it outside. Watch the video to see how well it held up!

The second weapon I tested was the Heavy Metal Hand Claw. A couple of weeks ago, we tested a different hand claw, which didn't hold up as well as I had hoped, but this one is much more heavy duty, so I was excited to review it. One of the things that makes this claw weapon different from some of the other claw weapons we carry is that the bladed claws are actually sharpened. So, instead of being just a fantasy costume weapon, the sharpened blades actually make it a viable weapon to survive in the Upside Down.

The third weapon I reviewed was the Stealth Tactical Kukri. We've shown off kukri knives in a number of our videos, but this one probably has the most comfortable handle of any kukri knife I've every held. The handle has a very thick rubberized grip that give this knife a major advantage when fighting off demodogs and demobats in the Upside Down. The blade is made from stainless steel, which isn't my favorite metal, but when it comes to outdoor use, the fact that it is very corrosion resistant is very nice. I could tell that the blade was very sharp, so I wanted to test it out to see how well it would do. Make sure to watch the video to see how well this kukri knife performs.

The fourth weapon I tested was the Stealth Tactical Pocket Knife. We sell a lot of really nice pocket knives on KarateMart.com, but this one is a little bit different. In addition to having a ball-bearing pivot, it also uses a rapid lock to lock the blade in place when opened. The rapid lock is also nice in the way that it allows you to open and close the knife using only one hand. I also really like the fact that it has a very sharp tanto style blade, which I chose to test out on some fabric. Watch the video to see a detailed review of this really nice everyday carry knife.

The last weapon you get to choose from to survive the Upside Down is the Traditional Chinese Miao Dao. The thing that makes this two handed sword so unique is it's extra long spring-steel blade. In fact, the blade of this sword alone is about the same length of an entire katana. So, as far as reach goes, this sword would allow you to keep plenty of distance between you and the creatures of the upside down. Make sure to watch the video to see my entire review of this Chinese sword.
