The full tang boot knife also has a ring pommel at the end, a design acquired from karambits, so you can use that to secure your grip or even tie a rope around it to keep from losing your knife (or to pull the knife back after you've thrown it at a target). The satin finish boot knife comes with a hard thermoplastic sheath that you can clip to your belt, sock, or pocket.
