Welcome to a new world with the Indestructible Blackthorn Club. Traditionally, blackthorn sticks or shillelaghs were used as defensive weapons in Ireland. These traditional Irish folk would take a knotted piece of wood and whittle it down until the knot could work as a simultaneous walking stick and deadly bludgeoning weapon. Then they would roam the Irish countryside, thwacking villains left and right with their blackthorn clubs.
You can relive the tradition with this 37" polypropylene walking stick. The walking stick is fashioned with artificial knots to give you the right feel of an old-fashioned shillelagh, but the poly-fiber construction means that this defense stick won't break. Even the knot at the top is made from an impact-resistant faux wood. This knotted cap is extra heavy to give your swings added power.
