If you never thought you'd find a cool, convenient, and foldable cleaver to take on outdoor adventures with you, then you never thought you'd find the Behemoth Folding Cleaver! This massive chopping blade has the innovative design that allows it to take up far less space, while giving you the kitchen chopper you've been missing around the campfire.

These knives live up to their name, and you can see the advantage of having a huge chef's knife like this on the trail. The thick 1/4-inch steel is 440 stainless, so it comes already resistant to rust and moisture damage. The blade unfolds to reveal the 3.75-inch sharpened edge, with a 90 degree pointed tip like many normal cleavers. But those cleavers don't fold in half to 6.5 inches! The locking liner of this hefty chopping blade makes sure that it stays opened while you are making dinner, and a standard tension tab push allows the sharp side to fold away, protected and easy to pack up.

Two signature features of a cleaver are the wide sharp blade and the steel to swing it. Many butcher knives carry some extra weight, since they are the few knives that can chop through bone. This behemoth weighs 1 pound 3.3 ounces, and reaches about 10.75-inches when unfolded. The ability to manually flip out this blade when you need instead of transporting a fixed cleaver makes it far more accessible to campers, hikers, and hunters who have to carry their gear. Even car campers and RV folks have limited space, so this foldable chopping knife is a great choice for those on the go.

The thick steel is given a matte finish to reduce sunlight reflection while also further protecting the metal. This folding cleaver can be stored and carried in the included black nylon case that secures shut with Velcro. Just make sure to clean the knife before storage, as you don't want any funky stuff to grow on it. While cooking, you can secure cord on the lanyard hole to easily hang it from a tree in between chops, or strap it to your apron with the massive metal pocket clip. With the innovative folding design, you'll have dinner served in no time.
