Impact Weapons That Could Save Your Life!

Impact Weapons That Could Save Your Life!
This week for Weapons Wednesday, we tested out some of the most popular SAP and Impact Weapons that could be used in Self-Defense situations. Make sure to watch the video and vote for your favorite!

The first impact weapon we tested was the Black Kusari-Fundo. Also known as a manriki chain, this compact weapon is small enough to fit in your pocket, but is extremely effective in the right hands. It consists of a chain with two fundos (weights) attached to the ends and can be used for striking, trapping and choking. Be sure to watch the video to see me test them out!

The second weapon we reviewed was the Tactical Slap Jack. We've shown off slap jacks before, but never like this. Our standard slap jacks are made of leather, but this one is made from a thermoplastic rubber which gives it a very comfortable grip. Slap jacks are a very popular weapon, but they take some training in order to use them effectively. Watch the video to see my full review of this item.

In the next box I opened, Amanda actually brought me two different items. The first was the Black Leather Knuckle Holster. This is the first knuckle duster holster we've added to KarateMart.com, so I was pretty excited to see it. It's made of real leather and has a very heavy duty feel to it. The other item Amanda brought me in this package was the Solid Brass Knuckle Duster. This is definitely one of our most popular knuckle dusters because of the fact that it is a very traditional looking pair of brass knuckles. They are made of solid brass and actually manufactured in America. Watch the video to see me test out both of these items.

The next weapon I tested was the Expandable Polycarbonate Baton. We get asked questions a lot about this weapon because people are curious why you would want a polycarbonate baton and also want to know how strong they are. First off, they are polycarbonate on two sections, but they still have parts that are made from steel, so are not manufactured for the purpose of getting through metal detectors. They are manufactured with the goal in mind of making them lighter than a standard steel collapsible baton. Knowing that they aren't made of steel begs the question of how strong they are, so I made sure to test it a little bit to see how durable it is. Make sure to watch the video to see how well it held up!

The last weapon I reviewed was the Punisher Stun Baton. We've reviewed a stun baton similar to this in the past, but this one is a little different. It is made from a military grade aluminum, so it is very heavy duty. That's important because if the stun isn't strong enough to take your attacker down, you still have a heavy duty baton you can use as a weapon. The stun gun also comes with a nice side holster and a rechargeable battery, so make sure to watch the video to see my full review as well as how strong it is when it stuns me!
