New Weapons to Survive in the Wild!

New Weapons to Survive in the Wild!
This week for Weapons Wednesday, I tested out some of our newest weapons that are perfect for camping or outdoor survival. Watch the video to see my review of each of these weapons.

The first weapon I reviewed was the Desert Commando Tracker Knife. I like tracker knives because they are a combination of a couple of different types of knives, which allow to be able to do many different survival tasks including chopping and skinning. This particular tracker knife is made from a 1065 German surgical steel and has a very durable ABS handle. It weighs about 13 ounces which is an excellent weight for a tracker knife. Be sure to watch the video to see me test it out!

The second weapon I tested was the Stealth Tactical Tomahawk. I've been so lucky lately that I've been able to review so many throwing axes, because they are so fun to throw! This specific one has a head that is made from 1065 German surgical steel and the handle is made from a nylon fiber. Perhaps my favorite thing about this tactical axe is the spike on the butt of the axe. It is perfect for many survival tasks as well as tactical purposes. As usual, I had a blast throwing and testing out this axe, so be sure to watch the video to see what I thought!

The third weapon I reviewed was the Fat Belly Hunting Knife. This knife is gorgeous! The handle is made from a very light pakkawood with stainless steel inlays that has been lacquered up, giving it a beautiful shein. When I first saw this knife, I was worried about it effectiveness due to it's unusual belly size, but I must say that after working with it, I absolutely love it. It shredded through the wooden pallet that I was testing it on, which made it one of my all time favorite knives.

The fourth item I tested was the Wilderness Survival Tool. This unique survival kit has many of the most important tools you need to survive in the wild. It includes a pick axe, shovel, hammer, saw and hatchet blade as well as a compass on the handle. There are a lot of kits like this available on the market, but the thing that I like so much about this particular one is how simple the design is. By being so simple, it makes it a breeze to switch back and forth between different tools. Make sure to watch the video to see how easy this set is to use.

The last weapon I reviewed was the Tactical Sawback Machete. Perhaps the most unique thing about this specific machete is it's durable and comfortable handle with a protective D-Guard. The blade is made from 440 stainless steel with a black finish, which isn't my favorite steel, but it's perfect for survival purposes because it is corrosion resistant and fairly easy to sharpen. The handle is made from a very durable ABS with a rubberized grip, making it extremely comfortable to work with. It also comes with a flint firestarter, which would come in very handy in a survival situation. Be sure to watch the video to see me test it out!
