The 440 stainless steel of this folding knife is black anodized all over for non-reflective stealth. It keeps the baddies from being any wiser. Like most karambits, the hooked claw blade is razor sharp and has a pointed tip for optimal slashing. At 2.5 inches, this shorter blade is known as a hawkbill shape, because of how it resembles the lethal beak of those predators. The metal of the blade has a textured finish that looks like the lines of a topography map, which looks cool and is probably exactly what it is modeled after.
The handle to control this sharpened talon is also steel, and has a clean matte black finish. The grip has contoured finger holds to reduce any chance of slipping, as well as a classic karambit security ring at the base. This ring measures roughly 1-inch in diameter, so you can comfortably switch grips as soon has you get it opened up. On the base of the ring is a single spike, which helps your hand when orienting for grip change, but it also serves as a trusted spike to help deliver a painful blow.
This folding karambit opens via the finger tab to almost 8 inches long. It folds to about 6 inches, and unfolds to roughly 8 inches long. This compact size is great for tucking into your pocket, or clipping to your belt with the metal fastening clip on one side.
