Modern Throwing Axes and Other Dangerous Weapons!

Modern Throwing Axes and Other Dangerous Weapons!
This week for Weapons Wednesday, I tested out the Modern Throwing Axes as well as some of our other new weapons. Make sure to watch the video and vote for your favorite!

The first weapon I reviewed was the Behemoth Folding Cleaver. This is definitely one of the most well designed weapons I've seen in a while. There are so many little details that make this a valuable weapon. For one, it uses a ball-bearing pivot, which allows it to open and close very smoothly. The design also allows you to be able to open the blade by simply pulling it out of your pocket. Be sure to watch the video to see this blade in action!

The next weapon I tested was the Damascus Blade Karambit. If you've watched my previous videos, you know that I love karambit knives, and this one is no exception. For me, the thing that made this karambit so nice is that the ring on the pommel is extremely thick, which allows for a very comfortable transition from reverse grip into extended grip. The damascus steel also sets this karambit apart from other knives. Watch the video to see my full review.

The third weapon I reviewed was the Modern Throwing Axe Set. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I loved these throwing axes. The aerodynamic and modern design balanced it perfectly to stick into the target on every throw. I even grabbed another employee who had never thrown axes before, and she was able to stick her first three throws. I was extremely impressed with these. Watch the video to see me test them out!

The fourth weapon I tested was the Silver Converta-Chuck. We've been selling the Black Converta-Chuck for many years and are very impressed with it's quality. Recently, we've had some trouble keeping inventory of the black ones, so we looked for a substitute and found the silver version. It's not quite as nice as the black ones, but I put it through some rigorous testing and they held up much better than I expected. Be sure to watch the video to see me test them out!

The last weapon I reviewed was the Dark Combat Machete. This heavy black machete has a tip that is similar to a sheepsfoot blade, which allows it to slice through various materials very easily. The blade itself is made from a 1065 surgical steel with a black finish, which held up beautifully during my testing. But, perhaps my favorite part of this weapon is the G10 handle. It was very comfortable to hold onto, even though it is a fairly heavy weapon. Make sure to watch the video to see my full review.
