The rattan escrimas are 28" long and tapered so that one end is around 1" thick and the other end about 7/8". We say "about" because rattan is a natural material and so each set will vary a little.
The tapered escrimas are 28" each and still have their natural exterior bark, which makes them just a little bit more durable, and allows for more prominent segments. You will find that the unpeeled design gives you a firmer grip. This tougher exterior is also polished to give it a bit of a shine.
The black vinyl case that comes with the escrima sticks has an adjustable shoulder strap for comfortable carrying and a Velcro closure, which helps prevent your sticks from falling out at the wrong time.
