You can carry this folding karambit to have the sharpened claw and cosmic protection of the legendary dragon. The 440 stainless steel blade comes sharp and is completely black to avoid reflecting sunlight into your eyes. The anodized process makes this steel blade more rust-resistant as well, besides just giving it an awesome look. The side of the blade has dragon scales textured into the metal, that begin at the top and extend all the way down to the karambit ring at the bottom. The blade shape of this karambit is very different, with the belly of the blade dropping down and the point curving upwards. This creates a trailing point that is great for giving the wide edge of the blade the priority, while also preserving a talon-like tip at the end.
Unfolding this pocketknife is simple with the push open tabs and the spring-assisting mechanism in the housing. The liner lock will secure the blade into an open position, so you can wield and cut with all 9 inches of this knife with confidence. Once finished, move the liner lock to one side to allow the sharpened steel 3.5-inch claw to fold into the handle, compacting this karambit folder to 5.5 inches long. That measurement includes the fully functional karambit ring at the pommel, which has a hole diameter of 1 inch, which is standard on most tactical karambits. The finger tabs to allow you to open the black trailing point blade swing out and provide protection against incoming weapons, much like a handguard on a sword. But then again, that puts someone uncomfortably close to the needle-like point of this impressive looking karmabit folder!
At 8.1 ounces, you can feel the weight of this every day carry weapon in your pocket or in your bag, which should bring you some peace of mind. You also have the option to secure it to your back pocket, belt, or backpack strap with the sturdy metal pocket clip. "I'll start with the bad points. It has a semi-weak flick where in it may not lock open every time. Though this is remedied by just pressing hard enough so that you know you got it. Also, the blade's edge could be sharper, but I can take care of that myself. Other than that... this thing is everything I dreamed it would be. Even though the flipping mechanic is a little weak, it doesn't lower the weapon's performance. Comfortable, nice weight, and I'm digging that design! Despite the barely noticeable flaws, it's so awesome that I still feel it deserves no less than a perfect score!"
