Each star of this three piece set is forged of 3Cr13 stainless steel, but they only look steel-y on the sharpened double edge of each blade. The rest of the 3.75" diameter shuriken is anodized to create a protective and colorful coating, and in this set you get one blue, one red, and one titanium oxide, which comes out in a rainbow oil slick finish. Each throwing claw has 5 pointed edges that seem to curve, but really have two flat edges instead of a smooth tangential line. That doesn't make the 1.5-inch blade, all 5 of them, any less sharp! These shurikens were designed with a high amount of surface area to help stick that target no matter what!

You can admire the kanji symbol in the center of each ninja claw, or you can take aim and send all 1.6 ounces of sharpened steel towards your opponent or flying down range.
