Historically, knights might carry a shortsword like this alongside their longsword for times when they needed speed in up-close melee combat. Measuring 29", you can be sure to be up close and personal with your targets. The sword comes to you with the approximately 23-inch 440 stainless steel blade. The blade is a little sharpened, but not razor sharp.

The medieval shortsword weighs almost 20 ounces and comes with a black scabbard that matches the handle. Both have shiny reflective accents and the handle has a non-slip grip.
