"These kama are an absolute must for anybody interested in serious training and sparring. Competition kama are too short and flimsy, while wooden training kama often aren't very well made. I felt I was running out of options for sparring with kama, until I found these. While light, these kama are extremely tough and well weighted. I've been sparring against bokken and bo for weeks and there has been no damage whatsoever. The only commercial kama I recommend for both personal practice as well as sparring. It's worth the extra cost over wooden kama which break easily."
