Who doesn't want an indestructible practice sword like the Polypropylene Wakizashi? The poly-fiber material from this wonder weapon is lightweight nearly indestructible, which is why polypropylene training weapons are widely popular in dojos.
Like a good shoto, the hard plastic wakizashi measures 24" and has a 17.5" unsharpened blade. The handle is styled to have the look and feel of sageo wrappings on traditional samurai swords, but it's really all plastic. The nice thing about the shape and feel of this practice weapon is that it so closely resembles a real sword that you can practice with the polypropylene sword and, when you're ready for the real thing, you don't have to relearn as much as you would if your practice wakizashi felt completely different.
You can use this indestructible plastic wakizashi for real sparring practice or, if you're so inclined, as a costume accessory the next time you need a plastic weapon for cosplay that won't break on you.
