Testing Amanda's Weapon Knowledge on Weapons Wednesday!
January 5th, 2025

This week for Weapons Wednesday, we decided to switch things up by putting Amanda's extensive warehouse knowledge to the test! Instead of Amanda selecting and describing the weapons as usual, Kyle chose four unique weapons to challenge her expertise. Be sure to watch the video to see Amanda's impressive weapon knowledge and some awesome destructive testing with pumpkins and cabbages!
The first weapon tested was the Eagle Claw Pizza Axe, a unique blend of culinary tool and tactical design. Made from 1075 high carbon steel, this 11-inch axe features beautiful eagle etchings and a solid wood handle that provides excellent grip. Amanda's warehouse knowledge shined through as she nearly perfectly guessed the weight at around 1.5 pounds (actual weight: 1.8 pounds). We put this distinctive axe to the test against some produce, and it sliced through cabbage with impressive ease. While you might not need this in your kitchen right now, it's certainly a conversation starter!
Next up was the Stealth Survival Spear, a versatile 5-foot weapon perfect for training or survival situations. This Colombian-style spear features a durable nylon fiber handle with ergonomic grooves and high carbon steel components. Weighing in at just 1lbs 6oz pounds, this surprisingly lightweight spear comes in three pieces for easy transport and assembly. The sharp pointed tip proved its worth in our testing, easily penetrating targets and showing why it's an excellent choice for both sport and survival situations. Amanda demonstrated its effectiveness with some impressive spear techniques!
The third weapon was the traditional Gurkha Combat Kukri, featuring a full tang 1075 carbon steel construction with a 12-inch blade. This hefty blade, weighing almost 2 pounds, showcases traditional design elements while maintaining modern durability. The distinctive curved blade shape and comfortable grip make it perfect for heavy-duty cutting tasks. Amanda put it through its paces, demonstrating its impressive chopping power against our test pumpkins.
Last but definitely not least, we reviewed the Problem Solver Defense Bat. This 3-pound polypropylene powerhouse features realistic wood grain texture and measures just under 36 inches in length. Unlike traditional aluminum bats, this defensive tool packs serious mass in its striking end, making it an incredibly effective deterrent. The virtually indestructible polypropylene construction means you'll never have to worry about this bat splintering or breaking, even under heavy use. Watch the video to see just how effective this defensive tool can be!
