Intrigued by balisongs and karambits, but want to learn how to use these knives safely? This Blue Karambit Butterfly Trainer is an unsharpened butterfly knife with a karambit blade, handle, and finger ring. This blue karambit balisong training knife will let you practice your knife skills without earning cuts in the process!

Butterfly knives and karambit knives have origins in Southeast Asia, where they are used in combat as self-defense weapons. Also known as balisongs or Batangas knives, butterfly knives are famous not just for knife tricks, but for how quickly they can be opened and used in an encounter. Karambits, on the other hand, are typically fixed blade knives, their signature curved blades used for ripping and slashing, and their finger rings for control and melee attacks. Both of these knives have iconic appearances, and this karambit balisong combines them into one weapon!

When open, this butterfly karambit has a distinct shape, with a hooked blade, curved handle, and 1 inch diameter finger ring at the end. The finger ring is on what would be the bite handle of this Batangas knife trainer. This trainer knife is 8.75 inches while open, but just like a real butterfly knife, folds to conceal the blade in the handle. When closed, this practice butterfly knife is 6 inches long, easy to carry with you to show off your newly learned tricks and flips wherever you go!

Even though this training balisong is for practice and performance purposes, it still has a durable metal construction. The 4.25 inch blade is unsharpened for safe practicing and is crafted from stainless steel, a strong metal that is corrosion resistant. The 4 inch curved vented handle, also made of metal, has vent holes that decrease the weight of this dull blade karambit butterfly knife. However, this fan knife trainer still has an authentic weight and feel, weighing 5.7 ounces, so you can develop your skills to apply to other Batangas knives or karambits!

This metal karambit Batangas knife trainer has an anodized blue finish. This shiny coating will flash under the light as you perform the exciting spinning and flipping knife tricks you worked hard to learn, impressing your audiences. Even when not in motion, the handle of this blue balisong trainer is still an object of fascination. One end of the handle has ornate leaf patterns; The ends closer to the blade have detailed tiger heads, fitting complements to the claw-shaped blade.

These blue karambit balisong training knives are great for butterfly knife beginners, weapons enthusiasts, or those looking for a more authentic prop or costume piece. Add one of these Blue Karambit Butterfly Trainers to your collection of butterfly knives and training weapons today!

"This is actually very fun to attempt tricks with, and it's absolutely gorgeous up close. Despite being just a 'trainer' and is thus unsharpened, I still think it's a really cool thing to have. Not as well balanced as a standard balisong/butterfly knife trainer, but can still pull off a lot of the same tricks. And if its spins and flips aren't to your liking, it still doubles as a beautiful karambit trainer! Win/win~"
