"Sharp. As in, like handling a fistful of x-acto blades.
Seriously. Not only are the points as sharp as needles, the inside edges of them are honed to a near-razor edge, and that's no exaggeration. The pouches are a mere formality; they will poke through the plastic that houses them, and the pouch,and in the case of one that I ordered, the box too. And good luck getting them back in the pouch---they grab everything they can pierce, and they can pierce almost everything.
Hard to use, but will invariably stick after even the worst throw. I recommend forehanding them."
