Unsharpened Chinese Broadsword
+ DESCRIPTION
Most of fighting has to do with the forms that make up sequences of movements. A great fighter is one who has practiced the same motion a thousand times, so they can act without thinking about it. The unsharpened broadsword is a way of working with a weapon without any danger, at least not as much as a sharpened blade. The scarves at the end are a classic addition, as they help you see how much you are moving and how quickly you can come to a halt.
This Chinese training sword is partial tang with a steel blade in a broad sword fashion. The handle is unfinished wood with a large brass-colored hand guard and pommel that has sashes hanging from the end. The scabbard is wooden with decorative brackets as well as a black lacquer finish with characters etched on one side and a dragon on the other. This is sword will be best used for demonstrations as well as display or cosplay, as it is not designed with withstand impact.
