This approximately 1-pound wooden practice sword even has a textured 3-inch black plastic tsuba and matching rubber guard, as well as a nylon black cord wrapped 9.5-inch handle. The wrap helps your grip, while feeling like a real katana handle. This wrapping also makes the wooden training samurai sword look authentic when being used as a prop. The ironwood is stained black, with the word "BUSHIDO" etched on one side of the blade, and the representative kanji symbols etched on the other. "I ordered 2 swords and they got here super fast I think they got here in 3 days , me and my buddy Have had a light sparring session And they held up pretty good Once we get a little bit better we'll go hardCore with them then I'll comment again when that time comes."
