Crafted from durable athletic foam, these practice swords are soft but not too soft. They have a dense center core that helps keep the foam in shape, as well as securely attaching the 'blade' to the handle. The foam is cast completely around the inner core, so there are no seams, and you can easily wipe it down with a towel after training sessions.
It comes with a handguard that is similar to a katana's tsuba, yet the handle is rounded in a medieval sword's style. The handle is made of black polypropylene that has been given an embossed texture with a lanyard hole through the base. With a black foam sword like this, you can train different fighting styles, level up your cosplay, or just have fun with the kids. There is no sharp corner to bash an eye off of!
