"mines broke after two day use. I was definitely abusing it (I tried breaking a wooden board commonly used in martial arts, and the slimmer top part of the body flew off.) Granted if you were ever attacked and had to actually use this thing to defend yourself, it would hold up well. But if it broke on a wooden board, so I don't know how reliable it would be exactly if you hit a bone. If you get this, you can use it to practice a few moves and forms. But as a live self defense tool, I'd get something else."
