"I'm only giving this two stars because the item I recieved could have been an exception to the general quality. The tonfa I recieved are absolutely not acceptable.
Without doing any sparring or striking, one of the tonfa snapped where the handle meets. While simply doing downward strikes in the air, I heard a light crack. One more swing, and the tonfa was in two pieces. Absolutely do not buy this if you want to spar or do any hard training. Then again, even the lightest training imaginable broke them. Just pay 10 dollars more and buy one of the wooden pairs on this site.
As a side note, the weight was surprisingly nice for foam and pvc. Doing any spinning is difficult due to the grippy material."

"Rubber Foam Tonfa are heavy duty professionally made and very strong. It is well built and excellent for training and practice. This is not a cheap Tonfa. Extremely well made and very sturdy. These are real weapons and I would not describe these as toys but more of a perfect professional karate weapon made for real mature training. Thank you."
