This hunting knife has the familiar shape of a machete or large combat bowie knife. With a broad belly and a two-toned clip point blade shape, this fighting knife draws in your attention to the sharp edges, and there are a few of them! Forged of 3Cr13 stainless steel, this full tang fixed blade makes mince meat out of enemies with either the long fine edge, the serrated hilt edge, or the sawback blade. Let's not forget the pointed tip that can stab into anything that may be standing too close for comfort. All of the sharpened parts have a black anodized coating, which is a great contrast against the norm of having the blade be anodized and the sharpened edges shining a chrome color. It's part of what makes it look so darn cool.

Etched along the blade in black are two long aeration vents, also known as blood fullers, and a few zig-zag lines running from the from the spine to the serrated section of the front edge. These lines signify to you where the serrated teeth are on the front, in case you cannot see where the blade is cutting and need to saw your way out of that situation. The fine edge is 11 inches long, with a 1.5-inch serrated portion near the hilt. The sawback teeth along the back are about 5.5 inches before the blade is clipped to a point with a swedge. This blade is impressive and has a striking look as sharp as its bite.

The rubberized handle of this mercenary's knife is cast in ABS plastic and means business. You can tell by the ridges all around and the textured patterns cast right into the material, that the non-slip grip wants to keep this mountain machete in your hands during use. There is a slight curve that lines the handle up with the natural form of your fingers. In case of wild adventures or wet conditions, there is a lanyard hole on the pommel to secure a cord, and this fighting machete, in your possession. You can also secure it with snap fasteners into the woven nylon sheath that you have looped on your belt, giving some assurance that this combat knife won't be taking off in a different direction than yourself.
