Or just use the whole sharpened edge to chop through what you need. Thanks to the DLM, or dynamic locking mechanism, you can cut confidently.

When not in use, this knife looks cool and has an ambidextrous pocket clip that can be placed on either side. The thick thumb studs on each side of the blade give you the ability to pop the blade out of the handle initially, allowing you to then swing the ball bearing swivel around to open the knife fully and lock it in place. And for that security and safety, you have to manually release the lock bar to allow the blade back into the handle.

This knife reaches 11 inches when unfolded, and closes to 6 inches long. It only weighs 7.3 ounces, with most all of the weight being in the blade. And to control that huge clip point, you've got an ergonomic nylon fiber handle with a honeycomb texture pattern. Not all emergencies need a sharp blade, but that's the time when you'd better be safe rather than sorry.
