When it comes to cool bludgeoning weapons, few come close to beating out the star. The Morning Combat Morning Star is a polypropylene version of a menacing spiked ball on a stick. Given it's rich history and iconic look, it was only a matter of time before someone crafted one out of space-age polymer.
These morning stars come cast out of a single piece of polypropylene, which is much more forgiving than metal. And it won't shatter like wood, because let's face it: these morning stars were made to hit! The all black color is part of the polymer, and prevents from any sun reflection. This spiked stick is has an extremely reasonable weight of about ounces, which means it's not too heavy to carry around for an all-day cosplay.
The handle of this spiked ball weapon has grip lines as part of the molded design, and the pommel offers a lanyard hole for attaching a loop through. So you can hang this non-metal morning star on the wall of your armory, or have it on your belt, ready to smash a zombie or two. The total length of this spiked stick is about 19 inches long, and the ball diameter is about 2.5 inches with 1/2-inch spikes all over. The handle section has risers on each side, which help prevent this spiked mace from slipping out of your hand.
