Our military surplus pineapple hand grenade has been disarmed and weighs about 1 pound and stands just over 7" tall. This explosive device started life as a real military weapon. Unlike a lot of his friends this guy made it back from the battlefield safe and sound and we're all happy to have him home. Although he's not the killer he used to be, he'll still put a pretty good hurtin' on someone if you throw him hard enough! We know you'll find it interesting because you can take it apart to see the fired primer and all of it's inner workings. This grenade will put a HUGE smile on any kid's face and is an awesome prop for playing soldier or war! It would look great over the fireplace, or be a great conversation starter on the coffee table. You could also put it in a bowl with some plastic fruit for a little decorative irony!
Please be aware that unfortunately, most of these grenade paper weights were not cut flush on the bottom by the manufacturer, so they will often not stand straight up by themselves. However, you can either use a metal file to grind them flush so that they will stand by themselves, or you can prop them against something.
