Weapons can be more than mere utility or self-defense tools. When craftsmen apply their masterful techniques, simple pieces of metal can transform into beautiful novelty weapons and works of art. This Twisted Hand-Forged Karambit is an example of the artistry of such handmade weapons. Forged from one piece of carbon steel, this unique handcrafted karambit is a gorgeous rendition of a fixed blade karambit with its magnificent twisted handle, sharp hooked blade, and finger ring.

Karambits originated in Southeast Asia, where they began as humble agricultural implements. Over time, these simple tools evolved into fearsome self-defense weapons that were used by Indonesian soldiers and the Bugis warriors of Sulawesi. With vicious hook shaped blades that resemble the claws of a tiger, karambit knives excel at slashing and ripping attacks. Today, modern karambits are popular tactical knives and martial arts weapons used in silat and Filipino martial arts. This handcrafted fixed blade knife has a curved shape and finger ring like karambit knife!

This hand-forged weapon demonstrates the artistic ingenuity of craftsmen in its design. At 7.5" overall, this full-tang karambit is crafted from one piece of solid carbon steel. The steel has a slightly textured black finish, a refined color that complements the subtle beauty of its form. With a graceful curved shape, this handmade karambit knife resembles the shape of a traditional karambit. The 4" long twisted handle is an an aesthetic touch that serves as a reminder to the skill required to forge this novelty weapon. Like other karambit knives, this handcrafted karambit has a finger ring at the end of its handle. With its one piece construction and spiral-shaped handle, this karambit knife would be a fine addition to any weapons collection.

Although this handmade knife would make a great display piece, it is also designed as a functional fixed blade karambit. The 3" long blade is sharp on one edge and comes to a point, the geometry of its hooked shape ideal for deep, clean cuts. Aside from an aesthetic detail, the 1" diameter finger ring on the handle aids in knife control and weapon retention, allowing for multiple types of grips and strikes. Weighing 5 oz, this karambit feels reassuring and comfortable in your hands. To protect their blades, each of these hand-forged karambit knives comes with its own leather sheath. This sheath has a convenient belt loop, perfect for securing your karambit to your side. With the twisted handle exposed, your karambit knife will be available for utility tasks, personal protection, or the admiration of others!

These unique handcrafted weapons are proof that a karambit can be more than a self-defense weapon or a tactical knife. With spiral handles, one piece carbon steel construction, and sharp blades, these beautiful karambits make excellent gifts for weapon enthusiasts and collectors. Add one of these Twisted Hand-Forged Karambits to your own weapon and knife collection today!

"I was surprised by this product after spending some time getting a feel for it. The point didn't look all that sharp, yet it definitely is! The blade is sharp, the geometry is good, it fits well in my hand, doesn't feel at all uncomfortable, spins around my finger alright, and it's not too heavy. Honestly, I expected at least one or two flaws with a karambit made only from twisted steel, but was pleasantly surprised to the contrary. Not the best looking thing I've seen, but still every bit as effective as those made with "higher quality" craftsmanship. Though in fairness, I kind of like the rough and raw look it has."
