The black powder coat is not polished off, as it provides protection against oxidation of the metal, and it prevents any reflective shine coming off the axe head. And then there's the blade to protect you and your crew. It is extremely sharp and reaches over 5 inches long, with the metal starting at the pointed tip and continuing down to create the fixed handle in one piece. Good thing a thick woven nylon sheath comes with the sharp blade, allowing you to cover and store the fine edge safely, which also gives you a way to hang this tactical ax from your belt.

For some foraging in the forest, it's convenient to have a handheld chopping weapon that takes up less space and adds less weight than any wood handle axe or machete. There's always a use for axes to make camp more comfortable, or to keep yourself safe from harm. The bottom of the almost 3-inch wrapped handle has a security ring with finger jimping, close to what you find on a karambit knife. While this 1.5-inch ring is to help you from accidently dropping this survival axe in wet conditions, it also gives you the option for different grips like a karambit does.

With ample jimping along the spine and a black wrapped paracord handle, this stealth combat axe weighs 10.8 ounces and is comfortable to wield. The handle can be rewrapped in whatever pattern you like, or adjusted to carry more or less paracord. With roughly 9 inches of handax in your gear, you'll feel more secure knowing you have a full tang hand hatchet available should anything rise up unexpectedly!
