This hand-forged blade has a genuine hamon line, a rarity among katanas; Often, the hamon line is artificially created to make the sword look more authentic. This full tang katana has an intricate brass black dragon tsuba with complimentary brass fittings. The 11 1/2" tsuka has real ray skin panels with black cotton wrapping. Protecting the razor sharp edge of its blade when not in use is a black lacquered wooden saya with black sageo. A black cloth sword bag is included to prevent the sword and scabbard from scratches, scuffs, and other damage.
